Ideas shouldn’t require an expensive, timely process to be felt and understood. In visionscaping, we will partner on crafting a detailed and imaginative picture of the future in which a product or service fully meets the needs and exceeds the expectations of its users. Visionscaping is not just about envisioning features or functionalities; it's about imagining the entire experience a user will have, including how they feel, the environment in which the product is used, and the impact it has on their lives.

Intentions aside, not every interaction will be a delightful one—but it can be a productive one. To purposefully design relationship arcs between humans and technology, we can craft experience maps that predict the sunrise and sunset of how people may interact with our service. This connects the emotional journey of a human with the behavioral loops measured through technology usage, routed in Human-Computer Interaction methodology.

In combination with Agile and Design Thinking, we can ensure offerings are highly relevant and compelling while also allowing our teams to learn quickly and pivot when needed. A past mentor developed a framework called the “Experience Backlog Matrix” to combine journey mapping with iteration planning. I further developed this framework through application in dozens of contexts.

Through my past 3 roles, I’ve developed my teams’ research-participant pipelines to gain rapid access to users. I’ve managed both small cohorts with frequent connections to wider, pre-screened user panels who are willing to be contacted for participation in research efforts. At WHOOP, I recruited a pipeline of 921 paid users to cut down user research times to days over weeks.
